I opened Carve Pilates in June of 2014 after moving to Lake County from Orange County in June of 2013. I completed my Pilates certification in 2010 at Long Beach Dance Conditioning under world-renowned master trainer Marie-Jose Bloom. I am a certified Personal Trainer (2001), I have a BS in Psychology, USF (2001) and an MS in Exercise Physiology, Cal Poly Pomona (2005). I specialize in improving & strengthening postural imbalances with corrective Pilates exercises to increase performance and alleviate pain. I believe in the importance of self-improvement, enhanced by a learning environment that is not only enjoyable but is inspirational!
In August of 2022 I completed the esteemed Integrative Health Coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). A health coach is a transformation guide whom helps you align with your wellness vision by encouraging a change in mindset via habits. By exploring what is going on in your life/surroundings, and helping you to create action plans, you can harness the change to begin your wellness journey towards happiness and better health.
